I'm Kat and I started an organising and decluttering business called Happily Ever Organised back in 2022.
The main reason I started was because I have a passion for helping people.
When I became pregnant in 2019, I spent a lot of time at my parents due to anxiety issues I had at the time. To help me focus I would start helping my parents go through and declutter their things, I then started assisting other family members and friends who kept asking for my help!
When I saw how they reacted to the finished project it was elating for the both of us; To have an area that has been decluttered and organised gives people a relief they may not have felt before, it creates a space that is welcoming to look at and spend time in.
My aim is not to make a room appealing to just your guests but to appeal to you and how it makes you feel. If that means all your books are out and on display as a library as one of my family members wanted, or to hide them away then that is the aim we work towards.
Everyone’s idea of a nice, calm and welcoming space is unique to each person.
